VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR

March 2022 - Present

I have been fortunate enough to volunteer for the Cardiff Animation Festival since 2022, which has opened up further opportunities to collaborate with the core team over the last year and make me a Volunteer Coordinator. I have made great friends with the team and have been an integral part of their monthly event, Cardiff Animation Nights, as well as assisted in organizing both events.
My responsibilities include scheduling volunteers, making sure everyone is on task on the day, handling the festival reception, pre-selecting films for the event, and ensuring that everyone experiences a positive atmosphere during the festival.

January 2024 - May 2024

I have had the privilege to join production team on a voluntarily basis at Twitch, creating it’s own first live streamed reality tv show based on an already existing competition. Working with content creators from all cross the world.
My responsibilities include scheduling over twenty different creators from five different time zones to meet for ten weeks at the same time for production shooting. Editing promotional materials (contestants trailers, posters, etc...). Hyping up the audience during the actual live show. During live show I am making sure all contestants are present, the flow of the show is running well, all technical issues are sorted.

April 2022 - July 2024

As a student film producer, I've had the pleasure of working on some exciting projects, including short films such as Godly job and the action-packed Mini Miney Micro Wars. Both of which were part of the exhilarating 48-hour Cardiff Quick Draw challenge, where we created both films over less than two days! Or producing a stop-motion film called Paw Paw! It's all about cowboy cats!
In my role, I'm responsible for managing a team of talented fellow student animators, scheduling, budgeting, catering, and overseeing the post-production process - from editing to music and sound effects. It's been a wild ride, but I'm loving every minute of it!

January 2024 - February 2024

My responsibilities included break down a pilot script into the shots, sequences and assets that exist in the episode. helped project manage the animatic which will form the foundation of the pitch of a major UK IP. Attend team meetings and talk through projects with the rest of the team.

October 2022 - Present

I started my employment at Glee Club, Cardiff as a regular floor staff member, and within a few months, I was promoted to the position of floor supervisor.
My job duties involve managing a team of motivated individuals on a daily shift basis, handling customer issues, ensuring that all daily tasks are completed on time, and meeting end-of-day quotes. Most importantly, I ensure that all shift staff members are comfortable, having fun, and enjoy their work while maintaining professionalism.

July 2015 - present

My responsibilities include handling the festival reception, pre-selecting films for the event, and ensuring that everyone experiences a positive atmosphere during the festival.
Additionally, I have volunteered for various Czech Comic Cons such as Red Dwarf Con, Festival of Fantasy, StarCon, and more. I was even offered the role of Volunteer Coordinator, where I scheduled and organized designated volunteers. It was a great experience, and I thoroughly enjoyed my duties of keeping things running smoothly and ensuring everyone had a good time.
Furthermore, I have produced and managed multiple Drag Shows in the Czech Republic, such as the "Blood Ball", one of the first big Czech Drag Queen shows. As the event coordinator, I managed over 10 performers and an audience of 100+ people, including performers' schedules, coordinating volunteers and DJs, and ensuring a seamless event flow. I take great pride in my work and find joy in creating positive experiences for others!

April 2018 - Present

Before moving to the UK to pursue my dreams, I have had several great opportunities to work in various administrative and hospitality roles in Czech Republic. I worked in logistics company, which provided me with great computer skills, Microsoft and G-Suite literacy, as well as email and phone etiquette.
I also worked in coffee shops, which gave me invaluable experience working under extreme pressures and always maintaining my cool in front of customers.
Lastly, I was fortunate enough to work as a bartender for two years, where I learned how to work well under pressure and deal with challenging customers.
